Cultivation Notes:
A large group of plants, Lysimachia are an ideal woodland plant with an interesting foliage and flowering combination.  Mainly known by the swan neck white flowers of Lysimachia Beth Chattos form, they are best planted in drifts under large deciduous trees.  Our collection also includes ground covers and stunning bog plants.

Aspect & Hardiness: Best grown in a lightly shaded position.  They will tolerate full sun in cooler areas.
Soil: A well drained, moisture retentive soil is best to maintain foliage and promote flowering.
Propagation: We propagate all our lysimachia from division in spring or as the new foliage is just appearing.
Watering: Keep moist for best flowering, allowing to become drier druing winter when dormant.
Feeding: Moderate feeding is recommended in early spring with an organic slow release fertiliser.
Pruning: Remove old flower heads as they finish. Tidy the old ratty foliage by removing in winter.  Ground cover varieties can be pruned to shape as required.
Pest & Disease. We have found no major problems with our collections to date.
Planting Companions: Hostas, Astilbe, Thalictrum, Tiarella, Heucherella.
