These tough plants make a great contrast to larger, more structural plants in the garden, softening the garden edges with their fern-like foliage and large multi-flowered racemes. Flowering in a variety of colours and styles they last well in a vase, and look particularly pretty with cut roses.

Most achilleas only require extra watering during very dry periods.  Excellent drought tolerance once established. Good soil preparation is the key.
